Garlic Cheese Melt

  1. What you’ll need:
    • 1 1/2 cups cheese, monterey jack, cheddar, anything that melts easily
    • 3 cloves garlic, minimum
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • Fresh lemon to taste
    • Loaf of crusty bread, sourdough works well
  2. Instructions:
    • Heat your state shaped skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic and cook until the garlic softens and starts to brown on the edges.
    • Reduce heat to very low and add the cheese cubes.  Allow them to slowly melt.  You may gently poke the cheese but don’t stir or disturb it too much.
    • When it is fully melted, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the cheese.
    • Bring to table and dip right out of the pan with crusty sourdough bread.
